I've just got in from work and I've had over 500 eue's today, all dying right at the start
I've posted in the stanford GPU foum too, is anyone else having issues?

I've restarted the client and it's crunching again.
It's a sapphire X1900XTX Toxic with 675/800 clocks as standard bu I have upped the voltage to 1.4 with ati tray tools, temps are around 72c, same as they always have been.
it seemed to be stuck in a loop of doom, not even getting to the first checkpoint just eue-ing and restarting every 5 or 6 minutes :(

can you see if it's the exact same WU over and over again?
I had no display so I hard reset the pc :o I only realised there were so many eue's from looking at my EOC stats!

pre post edit, found fahlog-prev.txt :o

All running OK now.

glad it's ok now - odd that the server hadn't killed off your client though as when I've had CPU clients go wrong the servers have stopped assigning work to them

This is odd. Especially with so many!

72C isn't exactly cool, you know. Before I started using ATITool to keep my temps down, my Connect3D X1900XT would give (big) artifacts on the screen if I played COD:2 for too long. That was reaching about 75C. I tried folding with my GPU for a bit, but temps were a big problem (I don't think the cooler can have the best contact possible, but I can't be bothered to have a look), so I stopped.

Maybe you should run it as a program for a bit so you can monitor it easily or only let it fold when you're there, so you don't get a repeat.

Well there are going to be 500 work units assigned to a diogenese in team 10. If the servers run out of work you know who's hoarding it :D

Glad that sorted itself out  :)

nah EUE's get returned to the server and are sent straight out to another client - it's only if files get corrupted that it just deletes the WU and continues

It's all gone bonkers again so I've stopped it crunching, I'll have to whip it out and check it's still got water in it or something:( probably have to wait untill the weekend though.
