I've been out of the loop for some time (been several years since I had a PC) and am thinking of building a new PC for gaming...
I'm not after anyone to spec me a PC particularly, but I'm dazzled by the number of different types of RAM, heatsink, graphics cards etc...
Are there any specific brands / types of hardware that are considered better that the others or work better with certain types of motherboard for example, or are they all pretty much the same and it doesnt really matter?
Any thoughts would be useful, thanks.
