Vauxhall Car Stereo Code

Ok, a long story short:

I buy Astra > I change head Unit to a Custom one.

My brother buys an Astra > He doesn't know code for his HU > He has mine, I have his in return, and with a promise of code if I need the HU in the future.

My brother crashes his car

> Forgets my HU is in the car > Insurance company take all ownership of care, therefore he sends all paperwork to do with car to insureres. = Me without my stereo code.

Any ideas how I can get the code for the HU?

Im looking to sell it on eBay, so the code is kinda important.

This is what I thought, but seen as Vauxhall will probably want to see proof that I own the vehicle and my brother sent everything off to the insurers, I see that looking very unlikely

The Head Unit is a Delco CDR500(D) (Delco Electronics)
