Hi guys... my ex's vauxhall corsa B.. has a developed a problem where the steering (wheel) vibrates/shakes as you drive the car, does anyone know what could be causing this?
Also the car seems to pull to one side when you drive, apart from the tracking or tryes can anything else cause the car to pull to one side as you drive along?
Thanks in advance guys :)

When I had my corsa B years ago I was turning into a road and hands slipped of the steering wheel and I hit the kerb :p. After this I had a similar vibrating at high speeds. I'd get the tyres and wheels checked

it vibrates at slow speed as well apparently.. she recently had 4 new tyres fitted, so unlikely the tyres.

You tampered with her car!

If she's recently had all 4 tyres replaced then I'd get all 4 wheels removed, balanced and then refitted. It could be that one of them isn't balanced correctly, or maybe hasn't been fitted flush?

thanks... would that be the cause for both the vibrating of the steering wheel and the pull of the car?

it turned out to be a "warped" front drivers side tyre and the tracking needed to be corrected as well.

had the tracking done before christmas (20 dec approx) and she drove up to newcastle to go spend the xmas and new year with her mum. She came back yesterday and the steering/tracking has gone again. She said she did not knock the car or anything and only really drove the car up north and back to london again. What could have caused the tracking to go again??
