I am writing a small app in visual basic 2008 (express edition) and I have hit a wall. Now as I haven't played with VB since version 4 many years ago I haven't done that bad figuring out the app but this one bit got me!
I am looking to get the app to search for a specific filename on launch and then write the location to a text file so next time the app runs it checks the text file location and if it finds the file the app carries on and if the file isn't there rerun the locate code.
Any one have any pointers??
