VB Login Scripts.

I wanna start creating login scripts in something other than batch files so that I can start doing something a little more useful with them.

Do any of you server admins no any place where I can get some guides or tutorials on creating VB login scripts?

also am I right in thinking that with a VB login script you can check things like what Groups a person is a member of etc?

edit: Should I be using VB Script or JScript?
