I've not done a VB.Net course specifically, but the udemy.com courses I've done have been very good.
Now that's out of the way, is there a specific reason you want to learn VB.Net? I ask as MS themselves have admitted the the language doesn't have much of a future and is heading for a deadend in terms of featureset updates: https://visualstudiomagazine.com/articles/2020/03/12/vb-in-net-5.aspx. The fact they only added full VB support to .Net Core 2 months ago speaks volumes. If you're looking to get in to the MS dev environment C# is by far the most popular choice, with the most available resources and support.
The reason for the course/training is to help support a couple of existing systems which have limited resources. Given one of the guys is retiring in a few years, there's an operational risk. Long term is to replace them, but they have become difficult to replace which is always a problem with bespoke systems over time.
