Not sure if it's possible, but would i be able to have a program that grabs info from a website?

In my example i'm having to create a simple currency converter, but i thought it would be nifty if it could grab the current rates from a website and use that in it's calculations.

Anyone know if its possible?

It is possible but it will not be so easy if you are just going to grab it froma web page as the data will not be formatted in any paticular way. So if the change something your program will break. If the data is in an xml file or similar then you are sorted.

I'm not sure how i would use that, bit noobish with programming

With VB.Net it's pretty easy (one of many tutorials here: http://www.codeguru.com/vb/vb_internet/webservices/article.php/c4813/)
