VB6 cutting and pasting from a Word doc?

Ok i need to open a word document up, select the entire document, paste it into a blank doc and save that blank document out. The reason being ive got 5000 odd documents all around 5 megs each but if i cut and paste the text into an empty doc and save it off it shrinks to a few hundred k, go figure.

So to save my hard drive from bursting at the seams how would i do this in VB6? Using the Word10 object reference.

this is easy ish.

i cant remeber exactly the names but if you load the word/office dll's into vb6 you can access them in code allowing you to open edit copy save stuff as you like.
