"vcar"... ?

Guys, Easy one here...

What usually or normally has happened to a car for it to be on sale on "vcar"?

Saw it on a Polo that was previously accident damaged, so at a loose strand of a guess, I was worried this usually meant they've had a nasty previous life, or does it just mean they're on offer this week for whatever reason?
