Hi,

As VCDs are very common over here I tend to get the kids tv shows on them as it saves loosing too much cash if they start trying to ice skate with them on the tiles.

Now using my NAS I usually just take the .dat file, rename them to .mpg and put them on the NAS. This worked with the WD HD Live TV players until a couple of updates ago and now they won't play (blank screen, no time bar). I am guessing it is the extra headings in the .dat which are not part of the mpg standard that is causing the issue so I need to convert the .dat to proper mpeg1 rather than just renaming the file. I would rather not rip to ISO as it would give me nothing extra.

IIRC ISObuster used to do this. Any other recommendations ?

Thanks
RB
