Recently l brought a CPU i74790k, after installing it I tested it with cine bench, l noticed on hwmonitor shows I was getting above 90c. It idles around 30-40c. I've tried resetting the cooler and applied new thermal paste but still the same. I noticed that the vcore is around 1.8v which is high. I've tried to find voltage setting in bios but there are no settings for it and I have updated to the latest bios version. My mother board is h81m p33, note that the bios version are the viglen ones which is a vig 690m. Really need help please

It's a heat sink, a none heatpipe, the fan when looking down onto the cpu is facing upwards, pins downwards, not sure how else to explain position of fan, tried to upload a pic of it won't let me.
