Just getting to grips with Overclocking a 2500k on a Gigabyte z77x-d3h and going for 4.5.

I've got llc set to extreme, disabled all the powersaving stuff and turbo boost and set a manual vcore of 1.32.

Using hwmonitor min value of vcore is 1.32 but when testing under load with prime95 the vcore jumps to 1.34. Not much I know but i was expecting a bit of vdroop if anything...

Am i missing some setting in the bios?

Ah ok. I've just tried adjusting the llc to standard, low, med and high but all gave me less than the 1.32 I'd set manually at idle. Is that an issue? Do I just enter a higher manual vcore to compensate?

Sorted. Set it to high with gives me zero vdroop and set the manual vcore 0.005 higher which gives me the desire voltage. Cheers for your help mate. A lot of the guides say only use the extreme setting...
