vcore , should I be aiming for 1.35 now ?

Hello

I see lots of people aiming to get their vcore at 1.35 recently , this is on quad chips thou , I have a 6 core i73970x and i always thought that 1.4 or under was fine for a 24/7 overclock ?

can any one just clarify this for me ?

1.4 on that chip should be fine yeah. The best way to max out a chip for 24/7 is quit ploughing Vcore when the linearity changes of amount of Vcore to stabalise the next level of OC.

So say 4.6 needs 1.25, 4.7 1.275 , 4.8 1.3, 4.9 1.35. 4.8 is your best 24/7 clock. For 100mhz its not worth keep ploughing Vcore and other voltages.
