I've recently been streaming some music to a group of my friends using Shoutcast and Winamp. But now I want to try fit Virtual DJ into the equation so I can mix between the songs whilst streaming, instead of it just switching to the next song. I tried changing the input to 'Soundcard Input' from 'Winamp' in Winamp but the sound quality was awful according to the listeners, and that the bass just wasn't going through properly. I tried all the bitrates, all the settings and I couldn't get the bass to stream properly.
Has anyone managed this sort of setup, either with Shoutcast or another program, that can guide me on how to set this up properly?
