I notice on my DS3 I have a small amount of Vdroop between the Bios Reading and say CPU-Z or Speedfan within Windows.

For instance if i set it @ 1.3625v in the Bios, I get 1.328v in CPU-Z @ Idle and 1.296v @ load !

Firstly is this normal for a DS3 ? And secondly which voltage should I go by for safety as I can set it higher than 1.5 in the Bios which would be back within a safer range once into windows ?

Thanks, any help appriciated

Si :)

All Intels have Vdroop as a specfic feature of safty. FCG has documented this loads and thats what mods are in place for to counter act this issue which hampers so many clockers!

I find using a volt meter and going via the bios is all i need.

Set what ya want in bios and boot up, not what it drops too and on your stress test too, then add whats need to counter it.

Bios is higher

Windows is less

Stress is way less
