Hi all,
Built up my new rig in the last few weeks consisting of the following:

e2180 (MO stepping)
Tuniq Tower
Gigabyte P35-DS3 - Bios F6
2 x 1gb Geil 6400 ULL
BFG 8800GT OC

I've followed all the great advice here and I'm stable (orthos 24hrs) at 3ghz (300x10 - 1:1) at 1.45v in the bios -load temps are ~45c via TAT (although strangely if I let TAT load the cpu at the same time they hit ~55c)

Unfortunatley, beyond that I don't seem to be able to get anything stable above 3ghz - having looked at the actual voltage in CPU-Z it reads 1.392v under load and 1.408-1.424v idle. Is this normal? If so I imagine I should set to 1.525v in the Bios to hit 1.45v and then try again for say 3.2ghz.

Obviously I'd prefer not to blow up my new rig, especially with crysis arriving any day now, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks for looking :)

You can pretty much keep upping the vcore til your Orthos load temps hit over 70c.
