VDSL Router Recomendation

Hi

I have been using the Asus DSL-AC68U router for many years. Great router, does everything I need. Most importantly the WiFi range for both 2.4 and 5ghz is great and it’s very stable.

My father is in need of a new router and wondering if this is still a good option or are they any other recommendations?

My father uses the Sky Super Fast fibre so would need to be DSL/ VDSL.

Don't think sky allows using other than their supplied router?
I haven't used sky so may be wrong
I know bt and plus net do allow it as have used my dir880l with ddwrt on it with them

Yeah earlier this year they changed their policy.

Personally I'd probably just buy a wifi router and pass the connection from your existing one in modem mode. More flexible fir future changes and kinda less to go wrong
