After being a Virgin customer for a while I'm moving to FTTC and looking for a router.

Ideally I would like some more advanced features like multiple ssid, vlans etc so I can have segregated guest network etc, along with decent WiFi.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Plusnet, I would prefer an all in one solution so my wife doesn't complain of boxes everywhere in front room :D

I have looked at Draytek briefly, have used them in the past in work and like them, but wondered if their were any newer consumer level devices that offer some of the security features of Draytek.

If you've got experience of using Draytek then it's probably your best choice. It will definitely do everything that you want.

Just waiting for a 2860n model to be delivered bought 2nd hand, may go with ac access point in the future but most things that I need speed for are cabled anyway.

I'm surprised with growth of IOT and security that more home routers don't offer vlans etc

Maybe moving house?

All in one..

Fritzbox or Draytek.

Modem + router separates.., second hand Openreach modem and a Synology router.
