Hey,
Not sure if there is such a device but I want a VDSL2 modem that will authenticate (via Sky which is a PITA I know) and just pass the IP address to my Ethernet router?
At just sticking my router in the DMZ of my Sky Hub at the moment but would like a neater solution

Why do you want the modem to authenticate? What's the problem with the usual Ethernet router and an Openreach supplied modem?

For Sky you just need a router that'll handle their MER authentication rather than straight forward PPPoE, but that's not much of an issue.

I'm using an ASA5505 and it doesn't support the type of authentication Sky uses. Just wanted a device that can dial up, authenticate and pass the IP to my ASA
