This is my first project log that i forgot to start when i started building this system :D. So as the title says i have decided to downsize my build. The custom desk i had was awesome but custom loop horizontal made draining and maintenance a PITA as gravity was limited.

I needed to make my life easier to maintain and so came the idea to downsize to a Lian Li O11D. Unfortunately it was out of stock everywhere at the time. So I found the 1st Player Steampunk SP8, an O11D clone.

I also ordered a new desk for my system to sit on and built that as soon as it arrived. my youngest cat claimed it right off the bat and became his new bed for now.

I started by upgrading my cpu cooler to the Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge which i forgot to take a picture of. Next was the rads (magicool g2 slim 2x240mm & ek coolstream see 360mm), tubing (mayhems ultra clear), Res (Aqua Computer Ultitube 200mm), and finally the 120mm fan bracket for my res.

However at this point my phone got damaged and after the repair all my data was lost even though i asked to keep all data :(. So i lost all pictures of the build from the last picture above until i finished the build. sorry for that. i carried on with the build minus the photos. I then had a problem with my second 240mm rad. It wasn't going to fit as my motherboard is slightly longer than a standard atx motherboard rgb and usb ports on the bottom of the motherboard was completely blocked. So i returned the 240mm rad and opted for 3 deepcool rf120 rgb fans for intake instead. Now all i have as photos are of the finished build. Before i forget the d5 next pump and cpu block was an upgrade for this build that i got well before this build was put into action over 5 months ago. So i made use of it in my old vector build before moving it into this new build.

I still have some cable routing to sort but didn't have enough time before school closures again so i just wanted to get this system up and running for the sake of needing the space for my kids toys as we had a lot of house repairs going on at the same time. Talk about space constraints :p Well i hope you like my first ever log. Any feedback to improve my build (not going hardline) in the future is appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Everyone stay safe and remember the face mask goes over your nose ;)

Both old and new look great ! love the red

and it might sound weird but i like that you can see the fans distorted through the fluid in the reservoir too ha ha

did you do a build log of the desk pc case? :)

I loved my old build but do in fact prefer my new build more than i thought. The distorted look through the res really works well. I really wish i could do a better job on the cables but limited on space. Cable management is what i plan to sort on this build soon once i get my new cable mods. I have since put a very small 2cmx5cm artifical jellyfish in there as another forum said it may look cool and they were right :). unfortunately i lost most the data on my phone prior to uploading them. next time i do a build i will do a better job ;).

So got round to cleaning the system up a bit. upgrades in the near future included 9700k next high flow and new custom cables for the gpu power, cpu eps and 24 pin atx ;)
