another issue thats cropped up recenlty with the vectra was a fast and the furious type moment
I managed to blow the inlet manifold.
7 hours later after stripping the fuel pump and manifold off and fitting a new manifold at £200 we are back running nice and happily again
have to say cracking design idea though, dual length inlet with switchable inlet length according to revs ala the old Shrick manifolds for the VR6.
epic idea just badly implemented by vauxhall as its a very common failure
more so the swirl pots jamming rather than blowing though
