Anybody else tried this yet -we're getting more than an order of magnitude speedup for incremental backups - pretty impressive

Got it through yesterday but not moved to it yet - have you come across any bugs?

No bugs so far.

The backup interface is identical (I guess I was expecting something a bit more modern but they've obviously expended GUI resources on the web management pieces) but the perf is definately better.

Sadly you can't co-install v3 and v4 so if you want to test it you'll need to set up another machine.

We've just purchased this as our backup solution for our servers. Intending to backup about 150 VMs on vSphere and then replicate them to the US for DR purposes. Looks like a very good product so cant wait to get our hardware in then start setting up our VMs to backup. Hopefully the new technology using the Storage API will benefit our backup times for our servers.

Ballpark £350 each for a handful... not sure how that scales into the hundreds of sockets...

I am right in thinking they charge per physical socket with a maximum of 6 cores?? Or am i totally wrong and they charge per core?
