I'm looking at backup options for a server running Hyper-V on Server 2012 R2. It's the only Hyper-V server, and that isn't likely to change in the near future.
Is Veeam writing to LTO considered to be a sensible option?
My plans to test it ground to a halt when I realised that the LTO drive I had available is U160 SCSI rather than SAS. Not a problem in itself, but the only PCIe SCSI card I have available (LSI20320IE IIRC) doesn't appear to be supported by Server 2012 R2.
