Hello there,
I'm after a powersupply that will cope with two vega 64s.
Please don't tell me crossfire does not work as the games I play it works fine.
I know I'll need something in the range of 1200w
I did order a 1200w seasonic prime gold which cause horrific coil whine on one of the cards so that brand is off the menu. :( (It went back to overclockers). I've been looking at the ones below.
I'm also using a 2700x 32Gb ram and 2xssd / 2x spinning drives.

EVGA 1300w G2

Superflower Leadex

be-quiet-dark-power-pro-p11-1200w

Thanks in advance.

The Bequiet and Superflower I wouldn't even consider. You pay all that money and only get a tight fisted 5 Year warranty which these days is quite shocking, especially so in the case of Be Quiet asking over £300 for that psu. They are good psu's but offering short warranties on such expensive components is a joke. You can get a 7 year warranty on a £74 Antec Earthwatts Pro 550w so why not on much more expensive brands? To rub salt into the wounds, that EVGA Supernova G2 1300w is basically a Superflower Leadex with a couple of changes yet comes with double the warranty at 10 years so that is the one I would get out of the three.

However, there is another option that is much cheaper.

The Corsair HX 1200w is on offer at the moment for the very good price of £174.95. It's a very good psu and Jonnyguru scored it 9.4/10 in his review. It would have scored more but it was expensive when reviewed so he marked it down for value. All of it's 1200w is available on it's 12v rails and it has a 10 year warranty.

Thanks for reply thats got me thinking. Does the EVGA have all the power on the 12 volt rail aswell ?

I've heard horror stories about corsair PSU's and Vega 64 coil whine so I'm a little put off by them.
The EVGA looks like the one then. Thanks for your suggestions.
