Love how people thinj thise aee not prices. When we git preorders from all over workd with 100 bucjs ob top of what amd said .
Even if vega 64 was 600 with vat its still too much with performance kike it is... I rather preorder that 1080 for 639.

I'm keeping this site secret for myself but if those prices are real, I'd rather get one of these.

Can switch over to run the Rx drivers, I believe its going to perform equal or better though its all clear as a muddy puddle right now

+1. If a 16GB Vega is £900, no chance of the 8GB gaming versions being anywhere close.

Halve the prices and you should be closer.

AMD will tank completely if those prices are legit. No-one will buy them if they underperform and are overpriced, Freesync or not.

Of course I'm being optimistic. ;)

Gibbos been at it again making headlines

We spoke to Overclockers' Gibbo today and he explained that the plan they're expecting to put into place, for the August 14 launch of the AMD RX Vega GPUs, will consist of an artificially high £1,000+ price tag, with a voucher code they're only posting on their gamers' forum to halve the price.

Sooo.... untwist knickers and just wait and see

I need a new heater so Vega may be of intertest.

Hope the pricing is decent, certainly need some competition out there.

I bought a new electric fire for the front room this week, I did think about using a Vega 64 instead but the fire only cost £500 !!!!

It's the price it high to net the high spending first adopters etc, get loads of free publicity and then have a series of price reductions as needed to get people as tight as me to buy one. As soon as it is £200 I will place my order.....

Who gives a **** if the price is £900 and the miners snap then up? If it's a card for mining, then so what. The miners get their card, the retailers get their sales and AMD get some moneh.
