Vegas help needed urgent please people!

Greetings.

For one of my uni assignments i've had to edit a music video which i have done using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0.

I now want to put this video and audio onto a DVD to hand into Uni. My lecturer has come back to me saying the one i handed in does not work. It just plays the audio even trhough the file is 900 meg so obviously video has gone across.

Can anyone advise what options i should select after 'render as' in the ' Save as type' drop down box? I selected avi. originally. Also in the dorpdown 'Template' option. I just want it to play in Media player or any other mainstream player.

I am asking on here as the lecturer does not use Vegas so can't advise. He and everyone else in the group uses Final Cut Pro as i am the only without a macbook (BOO HOO!)


Any help would literally be amazing as i need to get this to him for Friday PM.

I find WMV is the most reliable, although quality and efficiency wise it's not the best.

AVi is a bit of a mixed bag since it can use different codecs.

+1 for WMV, I use that for mine on Vegas 11

If he's using a mac MP4 should work fine.
