What does the game offer in terms of two players on the one machine? Can you both play online, split screen? Single player co-op?

Is it worth buying?

After trying the other day with a friend I do not think two people can play online on the same console, there is a single player coop as well as the usual terrorist hunt modes etc.

Do you mean its too difficult to play split-screen or not technically possible?

I'm pretty sure it has split screen mode..

i think he meant that you can play spilt screen co-op on r6. However two people on the same console cant go on xbox live at the same time.
