Hadn't heard of this before. Yes, you can get this information elsewhere, but it ties it all in nicely into one place.

You can 'add car to garage' to keep your own cars in one place.

All you to search with is the registration and make.

Shows the following..

Tax status
Tax band inc. cost
MOT expiry
MOT history
Mileage history in graph form

Hmmm, not sure if I should be worried.

Bought a car from a dealer who had shown an MOT service that's in place till November 2016.

Just checked mine in the app and says no information from the DVLA..

Should I contact the dealer?

Do you have the MOT certificate?

What happens if you put your information into this website?

Have you recently changed plates on the car?
 
That is a brilliant little app. Thanks for that. And the my garage is brilliant. Now I have all the data with me all the time. Excellent.
 
Had this a few months now, and it is fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't yet have it and wants to be able to do quick checks on potential purchases or just to track their own family cars.
