Velux blinds automated on a timer?

Evening OcUKites,

I've been looking for a means to have the Velux blind automatically rise on a timer i.e. in the morning to enable blackout in the night and then to let daylight in in the morning as a form of alarm.

I've only found remote control options and fully automated window assemblies, rather than a blind assembly with a timer function. Please note the blind isn't on a pull cord, but rather integrated into the window.

Any pointers?

IKEA now have electric blinds and controllers that tie into home automation ecosystems. Reasonably priced IMO. But not sure they'd work or fit on a roof window.
Just had a look - they may actually solve another issue, being that when the window is open with integrated blinds, the open area is of course no longer covered by the blind.
The ones you're referring to would hang separately and thus let air circulate whilst also blocking almost all of the light. Ideal!

Only problem is, the size I'm after appear to not be available in any IKEA store for collection, and they will not deliver anywhere. Very odd.

I'll keep an eye on those as they could be even more perfect than my original plan.
