VENGEANCE Series™ 650M HELP PLEASE

Hi there I have this PSU but misplaced some cables I’m getting a 3080 trio so it requires three 8 pins which the psu can do however I need another 8 pin cable for my psu.

I have a set of cables from my SF600 psu would these be compatible to use ? Are they both type 4 ?

On corsairs website it states - “

• Only compatible with 8pin PCI-E, 4pin Power and 5pin SATA Power cables:

  • TX-M (GOLD & BRONZE)
  • VENGEANCE-M (BRONZE & SILVER)”

Your best bet is to contact Corsair Customer support and see if they can supply you some spares.

But I would also say that PSU might not be up to running that card if your other components are of similar performance.

It seems a 850 W is recommended with the transient spikes an RTX 3080 can hit go to almost 500 W. Just for the card.

Oh really ok so might be a new PSU anyhow if the trio can take 500w!!!
