Venomous X Problem

Hi i've installed my new venomous x, but the heatsink rotates on top of the mounting bracket. I would sat about 5-10 degrees.

Is this right? Does anyone else with one have any experience of this?

When i was putting one of the mounting screws on it seemed really stiff - despite being really careful not to cross-thread it...

I've emailed Thermalright but have yet to hear back from them

I was really excited about getting hold of what i thought was the best air cooler on the market...but have so far been disappointed

Any help/advice gratefully received

thanks for the reply fellas. i just mean even tightened up the headsink rotates when i touch it...what temps are you getting btw with what processors?

And how are you guys applying paste? I'm doing the credit card thing with AS5...

thanks Mr Paul. will print out before i leave work...cooler goes on for a third time, and i look for some coffee filters...
