Ventrillo issue pls help asap

just joined an new guild and hoping to raid, joined Ventrilo to listen to raid leader and they can here me, but alas i cant here them, any ideas pls? im upto date with realtec ac97 drivers, so thats not an issue, strange thing is that skype works no issues at all.

any ideas pls?

is the output in the options going to the device your using? are u using usb headphones or normal jack ones? just check it TBH

Long shot this but.........
I had the same trouble, just bought a new mouse (usb), my headphones were already usb and all of a sudden vent didn't work correctly. Lke you they could hear me but i got nothing from them. Turns out I needed a powered usb hub.
Like I said, it's a long shot but something to consider.

emded up doiong a reinstall of the programme and now it works, please close thread dons.
