Verífying DMI pool data..help

Ok this is how I got to this error message.

a program was not running in windows vista so I wanted to run it on XP

I installed another new hard drive and set it to first boot in the bios. I then installed xp on it.

changing back to the other hdd with vista on I was greeted by Verífying DMI pool data
I can now not get past this..

Ideas for a fix?

Fixed the problem. vista dvd repaired start up. thanks
