Verifying DMI Pool Data...

Hey guys,

I've just rebuilt a friends machine after a serious spyware infection and I just happened to notice that during the boot up process, when it get to 'Verifying DMI Pool Data' it appears continually showing '...................Update Success'

I thought that only happens when you've made a hardware change and once it's been updated on the first reboot, it disappears? On my friends machine it's still showing after about 10 reboots and no hardware changes were even made during the rebuild

Any ideas?

power down and give all the cables a good checking over.

I had a "Verifying DMI Pool Data" error and was suggested to try to fix boot files. I tried that on RC version of Windows 7 and could not fix it whatever I tried. I ended up reinstalling the OS.
