Finally, after much discussions and guesses, information derived from hackers, and picture from other sources, there is proof that Verizon Wireless is going to get the new HTC Droid Incredible 2 phone. The phone is now being featured on the Verizon website and has an official photo posted with it.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 will feature dual cameras with both a 1.3MP front-facing camera and an 8 mega pixel rear facing camera. Since it is considered a world phone, it has support for both GSM and CDMA radios. It will also come with a pre-installed 16 GB microSD card and can use DLNA media sharing.

The phone is also supposed to use the New Sync & Connect feature, which will allow multiple e-mails and address books to be used in a single location. The service starts on April 12 and will be available the second the unit launches. The phone will also have the ability to use a mobile hotspot feature, but this particular feature has yet to be officially acknowledged.

Although no official opening date for the phone is out yet, Verizon said earlier it could be on April 21. If so, it’s certain Verizon will make the announcement a few days before that date.
