Vertagear PL6000 Warranty Issue

Hi Guys,

I bought this Chair around May 2018, now I love this chair!

Now since I bought this chair the arm rest heights were ever slow slightly different, but didn't bother me.

This chair now I literally can't sit back in the chair since about 4 month ago to catch just will not lock in place and the chair reclines.

I've been in contact with Vertagear and they've asked for photos and they noticed there is a flaw in the frame looks like a bend when you come to eye level with the base of chair. This explains the arm rest height. They mentioned this is not right and are willing to provide a replacement.

Now this has been ongoing for 2 and a half months some emails are now being ignored and not responding to me. They have my address and shipping information, but will not tell me if or when I will receive this.

I'm now sat with a £360 gaming chair I can't use and now just can't get comfortable as I'm using a kitchen table chair at the moment as I cannot sit back in this chair as it will just recline. I literally don't know what to do as Vertagear just say they will send when they can as it's busy. I feel my warranty isn't going to get honored. But the fact if I order a new one from them it would be within 5 business days.

Where do I go from here? I would appreciate any help possible.
 
i feel your pain....im in the same situation with my sons chair (PL6000),the base mechanism has failed after 8 months of use. ive sent pics etc and had a confirmation email saying i will get a replacement base and it has been handed over to the European support department to send it out....still waiting.
Have you messaged them on there facebook page? they replied within an hour when i did.............

I bought from a competitor but the funniest thing is that Overclockers sent the chair to me! I guess they use Overclockers and are just middle men.

Anyways the chair came put it together and one of the armrests will not lock. Ive just sent an RMA to Vertagear on there website so will see how it goes. Maybe we could all update each other here in the future

sadly, im in a new boat now, i just got up and a wheel split in half, on further inspection it has cracked in the center where its pushed together.

Ill be returning this now for a refund and get a different chair.
 
little update.."Hello Mr Mc Dermott, Currently the EU team consists of one person at the moment. We would love to help all the customers at the EU side. But we are limited on man power. We are pushing him though. The time difference is also slowing down our process. I'm sorry for this inconvenience

One person????? no wonder ive been waiting weeks!
 
Update
After 7 weeks a replacement base has arrived..BUT it is black? the chair i have is the camo version therefore it does not match..
ps on the original support request i attached pictures of the damaged (camo) seat.
NOT a happy bunny!!!

These guys are truly awful, huh?

My SL4000 was great, until it broke. I've contacted Vertagear multiple times explaining my issue, however the communication has been dire. The first reply to my RMA request they asked what the issue was despite the fact I had filled out every question on the RMA form. I repeated the process, of course. No reply.

I then chased them up on Facebook for a reply to my email, which they did instantly. They said that a replacement will be shipped very soon and that I should expect a email with tracking details, etc. 10 days passed, no email. I chased then up again on Facebook but this time they had no recollection of the emails and asked me to explain my issues once again, which I did. No reply.

It's the same boring cycle of repeating my issues to a different person every couple of days with no actual progress being made. It has now been a month since I filled in the RMA form and I'm still no closer to getting a replacement, or playing on my PC in comfort.
