Vertex 2 Temperature

Recently installed this in my MBP and it always reads as 30º, it never changes. Could this be a dodgy sensor or some form of comparability issue with the program that's reading the temp?

I've used iStat Menu 3 and also a generic temperature monitor from here.

Does anyone else have one installed which reads only one temperature?

I use istatpro on a mbp, mines is reading 29 degrees. Under stress its never went higher than 60. They are well made for heat dispersion.

But what I mean is it reads 30º whatever, it doesn't go up or down.

to be honest i use a 128SSD in mine it allways says 31 so im not positive it reads it correctly..there just guidelines some work some dont it may be the drive smart status that doesnt get read properly..

Okay, thanks. It isn't an issue more of a interest in why it stays the same, they're rated to ~70º and I doubt it'll hit that any time soon.

Edit: Emailed OCZ and they say that this drive doesn't support temperature monitoring.
