Hi all

i'm looking for a case with a small footprint. I dont want to use a small form factor PSU though because they are very expensive for what they are.

The only thing one i can think of is the shift X, but its pretty massive.

Most small cases of regular layout put the PSU at the front, which makes it almost a deep as a regular case.

Can anyone think of anything?

I just want it short front to back really, but it doesnt really matter how tall it is. So many cases are needlessly deep. Small regular cases often then put the psu at the front, so its not as high, but still pretty deep. Ideally trying to get to less than 350mm deep. Can be done with some cheapo matx cases, and some itx cases are easily under that, but often no atx psu.

So since i want tonsave depth a vertical case seems like the obvious choice.

I have a ryzen 2600 and a vega 64 to put in it, but at the moment i have an atx board. Itx boards are pretty pricey everywhere at the moment, so if i went that way id probably end up going intel with a 12400 and upgrade it while there is still some value in the existing kit. An itx board for the current cpu. Isnt much cheaper, if i can find one at all.

Cheers.

Meshlicious is the only one I can think of. And that's somewhat begrudging support; fitting and ATX PSU (and more problematic, ATX PSU cables) in there is challenging.
Thanks, ive seen that a few times, but i discounted it for some reason... but i cant think why now... i was originally thinking id go micro atx, as itx is expensive, so perhaps it was then i discounted it... ill have another look.

Cheers
