Vertical lines on screen

I booted up my pc this morning and there was vertical lines on my screen. Even before windows loaded. I think its my 8800gts dying. I had to uninstall it in safe mode to even get to windows.

Anyone got any idea what it could be? Virus? broken video card?

EDIT: Adaware found Win32Ba\.\Hupigon.

I think thats the problem .

If youre thinking virus then your best optionis to back up any files you need and do a fresh install of windows, only way to be sure

Now I'm getting netio.sys BSOD.

Any help.
