Evening guys and girls,

Looking for a pair of vertical monitors and I’m hoping somebody on here who uses them could give me some good advice on what’s a good option to buy

we’re only going to use these for discord/internet /YouTube and very light photo editing if I need more then my main screen to edit something.
But would still like it to have a nice picture if possible.

Ive been looking and unsure if people just rotate a normal screen or you can buy vertical monitors!
Give up in the end looking and came here for help
Ps not looking to game on the vertical monitors as I will use my main monitor..

I know you guys will be able to help and give me some sound advice as you always do

If this is in the wrong section could a mod please move it. Thanks

You just rotate a normal monitor to vertical. One like this.

▷ Iiyama G-Master Red Eagle GB2560HSU-B1 24.5" … | OcUK (overclockers.co.uk)

"Display position adjustments height, pivot (rotation), swivel, tilt".

Thanks still a bit unsure on which brand to go for? Reason after digging some more, certain panels don’t show too well when in portrait view. Could look on paper and view but when turned sideways look like a bag of rusty spanner’s
Was hoping some people who own and use them this way should help out.
Don’t nobody use it this way anymore or what lol

If you stick to IPS panels you should be okay.

TN panels can look awful if rotated because of the more limited viewing angles.

Not sure about VA panels as I've never bought one.

I use the one I linked in vertical. It has an IPS panel and, as bremen1874 mentioned, with these you usually don't have problems. Image quality in this particular unit I have is very good in any orientation :).
