Vertical Slide-Down/Drop Down Navigation

Can anyone recommend a CSS alternative or more XHTML Strict Vertical Slide-Down/Drop Down Navigation.

Much like the one found on this site but something that can be easily modified and css based if possible. http://www.dhtmlcentral.com/script/script.asp?id=32

hi

those fancy sliding menus are nice, gotta say that.

to do that with html/css is impossible.

if that's what you want you have to use the javascript in the site you gave.

(there is a way to do menuing in css, involving some clever tricks ... maybe it was called suckerfish .. anyway, daveredeer had it implemented on his site .. no fancy slip-sliding though)
