A just had a noticable vertical yellow line appear on the left-hand side of my monitor. It's a Dell 2007WFP and it's been perfect for the last few years (can't remember how old it is).
It's plugged into my Asus UL30A, but the line didn't appear when I pulled out the HDMI cable.
It's been on for hours, so it's not a heat-related issue I don't think.
It's very strange as I think it changed in intensity, and now it's gone.
After some google-fu, it's clearly something that happens a lot.
I'm just curious what it is exactly and what could be causing it.
Is this impending failure?
I've been running this monitor off the little laptop daily for a few months now. I'm curious as to whether this is a monitor or PC issue.
