Thought I'd create a light hearted thread after all these speeding/crashing threads!!

This weather is absolutely glorious, so for the first time this year the MX-5 got hooned to work and back with the roof down, and I still absolutely love it. Even though it's only a bit of town driving and motorway in between, it's still a great feeling to have nothing between you and the warm open air

Who else couldn't resist some topless driving today? :D

I have the top down on mine whenever it isn't raining! ;):D

I don't have the luxury of no roof (lolwut?), but I have spent much of today with the windows down, sunglasses on and an arm on the window sill while listening to lots of summery tunes and cruising through the countryside. Lovely :)

I had the windows closed and the climate set to 21c. I don't drive without a shirt on because I'm not a chav.

Its a toss up sometimes between having the windows up and AC/Climate on, or the windows down.

I love driving in the summer/sun

Same with me when I'm driving the Honda. All windows down & sunroof open is nice, but if it's ridiculously hot and I'm in traffic then AC it is

Howard, with you on this. Been out in the '5 today, finally got the bee sting conversion done so not looking ***** any more! Wind blocker, nice leather a great looking car - very pleasing

My car only has a sunroof that pushes upwards a little, so in terms of letting air in it does prettymuch nothing, but the big windows of a coupe make up for it.

I realised you didn't mean shirtless, was just saying I guess.

I've always thought MX-5's were for girls until I came on this forum. A lot of you seem to have them and enjoy them very much. Are they cheap to run?

Very cheap as things go, it's a go-kart for the road! Brilliant fun to drive, the only people who think they are for 'girls' are the retards that drive chav'd Corsa's and Saxo's and 'weren't trying' when your MX-5 spanks them around corners etc.

Was brilliant driving the lanes with the sunroof back and the big coupe windows of the 318 all the way down this morning.

Look forward to driving home

i was driving with both windows down and the sunroof open earlier!

i then closed them as it made the car understeer even more than normal :(

I had the roof down on the Z4M today on the way home. An hour and a half of glorious sunshine and 22 degrees. Lovely.

Managed to hit 8000rpm through the underpass in Croydon too which always sounds better with the roof down and put a smile on my face that even with the rest of the crappy London traffic couldn't wipe off.
