Has any one had any experience with a Vertu warranty on a used car?

I have put a deposit down on a '21 Cupra Leon Estate VZ3 and I'm being offered the usual warranty options and wavering on whether it's worth it. It's £699 for 3 years "up to the value of the car", covering electrical and mechanical. It also includes full home start AA cover.

I believe it's covered by Vertu themselves and at any of the dealerships. The car itself is being sold miles away so I'd have to use a local Vertu VW dealer which should be OK.

I'm yet to see the full details and fine print but thought I would get a head start and see if anyone else has had any experience or should I run away. It seems like good value on the face of it.

Hard to know really, although I usually ignore all warranties unless manufacturer approved.
Just to update if anyone else lands here on this thread. I've gone over Seat/Cupra vs Vertu warranty documents and they are very similar policies but Vertu cover 3 years and Seat/Cupra is 12 months. There's no better alternative at least from what I can see.

Vertu: 36 months up to 80,000 miles or the overall repairs totalling the value of the car at £699
Seat/Cupra: 12 months up 10k miles or the overall repairs totalling the value of the car at £681

The both exclude things like wiring looms, headlights, coolant hoses, glass, wear and tear, consumables etc. My main concerns would be gearbox, turbo and ignition system issues on a car like this which could eat up £699 in one visit. Vert includes full AA cover with home start over the Seat/Cupra offering which seems like a nice addition. I've not needed breakdown/recovery every really even on my old sheds, however I do see enough newer cars pulled up with the bonnet open and wonder if newer more complicated cars are a higher risk of breakdown. I wouldn't seek out AA cover if it wasn't included mind you, but that can be over £100 a year on its own.

The Vertu warranty explicitly rules out modifications and track use, Seat/Cupra only allow mods they fit themselves with permission. I did think about changing the wheels but I likely wouldn't bother. I did fancy at least one track day too but again, I can live without it. So seems like it's worth it to me.

It's silly that Cupra don't offer the same 'All-in' warranty, service, MOT and breakdown pack that the other major group brands do, it's much better value than the standard extended warranties - Seat are currently doing this for £900 for 2 years. £681 for a year of warranty alone is laughable really.

I have their wheel and tyre insurance, my M340i was purchased through them last year - claimed on it once with no issues, easy process

Is that Vertu as in used to be Macklin Motors/Bristol Street Motors?

I've used them for a couple of things and found them to be quite helpful when required (nothing to do with their warranty) but that might be just down to helpful people in the dealership.

In my case they got me a significant manufacturer contribution towards an out of manufacture warranty repair, they offered to speak to Vauxhall on my behalf and were pretty quick in getting a response.
