Very addictive game - Peggle

If like me you've run out of games to play whilst waiting for some of the upcoming big releases, try out Peggle (demo link below).

It was recently reviewed in PC Zone so thought I'd give it a go. I'm not normally a fan of these types of arcadey games but I've registered this and for the life of me can't stop playing.

I think any description I give will make it sounds far less interesting than it actually is, but the mechanics work thusly:

You fire a ball into play from the top of the screen selecting only the angle that the ball travels. From there, through mavity, the ball will make it's way to the bottom, bouncing off and between a number of pegs (similar to an old fashioned pinball machine).
Of the 50-odd pegs that are typically distributed on a level, 20 or so are red, and it is these that need to be hit to complete a level.

There are various bonuses for hitting so many pegs in one go, and there are different power-ups, giving you things like multi-ball, etc.

The beauty of the game though is in the presentation with all the flashy graphics and sound. Best just to try it rather than go by my description:)
