Very annoying Antec 902 problem

Hi guys, my Antec 902 case is getting very annoying lately because of the Big boy fan grill on the top of the case. The grill starts to vibrate and makes a very loud buzzing sound.

I've tried to tighten the screws but the problem still persists. Have you guys got any ideas?

What speed setting you running it at ?

its on medium settings. When i press the grill down the noise stops for 10-15 mins

You could try buying some thread lock or PTFE liquid (dries rubbery) may dampen the vibrations.

Does it vibrate on Low as well?

yes it does but its not as loud.

Mine does it sometimes, But its normally just because the case isn't quite level.

My case is firmly sitting on my desk. So i don't its that.

I cant say mine does it but then again mine always runs on lowest setting, the only thing I could suggest is removing the fan and maybe placing some black rubber between the grill and fan casing to prevent the vibration.

Try putting some rubber o-rings inbetween the screw and the grill.

I was thinking about this earlier. I might give it a go tomorrow.
