Very bad build job

Well i persuaded my bro to get a pre-built system from overclockers boy am i regretting this!

What a mess! I cannot believe the state it has arrived in I should have built it myself the cable mess is unbelievable.

There was a rattle in the case so opened it and a stick of ram was just rattling about. The cooler isn't fitted properly and wobbly, the fan was also loose in the case as well as the brackets just rattling about and the dvd rom isnt even connected. First and last time i buy a so called "build" off overclockers.

I can fix everything wrong as I know computers but I cannot believe what a shoddy job it is. I tried ringing but got sick of queuing. I am worried some of the components could be damaged especially since the ram has been thrown about the case and the cooler is clearly not properly fitted, not to mention there are cables all over the mobo, even under the graphics card!

I will have to try a webnote or something but i am just in shock at the moment.

I have bought many items off overclockers and been very happy but never a build by them, can't say i would be tempted to do it again now.

I very much doubt this is the case everytime a build leaves OCUK. And something has gone wrong in your case. However shop problems should be reported to the shop, rather than talked about here.

Please post in the Customer Support Forum and we will resolve the problems. Given the description of the problems, I would say that the PC has been damaged in transit and we need to sort the problems.
