I'm thinking of watercooling my cpu only to reach higher overclocks at cooler temperatures with less noise. First of all, is this possible with the pre set up cpu watercoolers like the h60i h80i h100i?

Secondly, will a h100i fit into my case? I have a shinobi core case with no window. It isn't the xl one but does have two top fan mounts.

Thirdly, if I upgrade to Haswell in June, will a watercooler I buy now fit on a 1150 socket?

Thanks for your help!

It's entirely possible, but you won't get much improvement with a single rad AIO solution as they're about on par with the top end air coolers (last I checked anyway). You would probably get a noise improvement if you could use quieter/slower fans on a rad.

I can't comment on the case but I did find this thread which suggests probably not.

As for the Haswell, you could probably use it still but chances are you would need a new backplate/mounting system for it which you might have to wait some time for and would definitely cost you.
