i am going to buy i770k cpu msi z270 xpower gaming titanium motherboard evga supanova 850 g2 power supply nzxt kraken x62 liquid cooler samsung 960 evo 250gb ssd wd blue 6tb evga supanova 850 watt g2 evga supanova gtx 1080 ti founders edition graphics card corsair 780t full tower case g900 mouse k70 rgb rapidfire mechanical keyboard windows 10 usb flash drive

my question is could i hit 5.3 ghz clock speeds with these components

if not what components could i change to hit that speed and also get very high test benchmarks thanks marcus

Yep.

Only way to guarantee specific high clock is to buy a pre-binned CPU plus use same/similar quality components to the seller.

Takes the excitement out of it to a degree (personally) - but can help eliminate disappointment at a premium.

Buy quality components and take your chances - part of the process/fun of clocking...

...and sometimes frustration :)
 
5.3ghz takes either luck getting a decent CPU or buying pre-binned.

Why do you want 5.3Ghz? The difference between 5Ghz (which is much easier to achieve) and 5.3Ghz is 6%, and probably not perceptible in real word use.

OcUK are charging nearly 3x the price of an unbinned chip for a 5.2Ghz binned CPU.

Unless you're desperate to have slightly higher bench scores it's a waste of time and money. You'll spend a tonne on a pre-binned chip only for it to be superceeded if a few months.

I also wouldn't drop a huge premium on any pre-binned 4 core chip, the future is clearly more cores. You'll loose a tonne of cash when you're trying to sell your quad core when everyone is rocking 12+ cores on The new HEDT platforms.
 
5.3 requires getting a pre-binned CPU and some skill maintaining it + a very good cooler and motherboard to help stabilise the voltage.

Even then, it's not guaranteed. I got a retail 7700K - On auto tune it can do 4.96Ghz but that's at almost 1.4volts! Haven't manually tuned it, not had a chance.
